Capsule Geology

The Boundary area is underlain by Devonian metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks of the Stikine Assemblage. The Devonian Forrest Kerr Pluton is in contact to the immediate west of the Stikine rocks. Plutonic rocks consist primarily of Late Devonian granite and diorite.

Rock samples taken in 1990 by Avondale Resources at the northeast boundary of the Forrest 2 claim contained up to 0.35 per cent copper (Assessment Report 20562, Figure 66).
